  • Recommended Cover for 21-1/2 Inch Diameter Spare Tire
  • If your tire has a 21-1/2 inch diameter I recommend the Adco Spare Tire Cover - Black # 290-1740. This particular cover is a perfect fit for this size tire and it features a double vinyl construction that will do a great job of protecting it while it's waiting to be used (but hopefully you won't ever have to!). Its elastic opening with a hollow-beat welt cord ensure a snug fit and an easy install. This cover is also available in White # 290-1760 and Diamond Plate # 290-9760. I have...

  • Replacement Trailer Coupler Recommendation for an Atwood 87558
  • Instead of using the Demco Hydraulic Brake Actuator # DM72VR I recommend using the Dexter DX7.5L A-60 Brake Actuator # DX33FR. I went out to our warehouse and confirmed this coupler has a 3-7/16" max width which looks to be exactly what you need for your trailer.

  • Converting 7 inch Diameter Hydraulic Drum Brakes to Electric on Trailer
  • For tandem trailer axle setups it's not uncommon to only see one axle as a brake axle. Since you already have 7 inch Dexter drums it would be just a matter of replacing the hydraulic assemblies with electric assemblies. For that we have the 2k brake assembly set part # AKEBRK-2 which would fit what you have and work well. It would be just a matter of running 10 gauge wire to each assembly to power and ground them. For that we have part # 10-1-1 which is sold by the foot. I also attached...

  • Everchill RV Wine Cooler Won't Reach Below 50 Degrees Fahrenheit
  • It looks like there has been some similar issues before with the Everchill RV Wine Cooler part # 324-000115 not cooling properly and per the manufacturer, you'll first want to make sure the unit is on as level ground as possible. Then, you'll want to unplug the cooler, empty it, and wait twenty four hours until plugging it back in. This allows the refrigerant to settle properly and reach the areas it needs to for proper functionality. If issues still continue after troubleshooting you...

  • Parts Needed to Convert 2003 Jayco Eagle Pop Up With Surge Brakes to Electric
  • Hey Susan, to swap your surge brakes to electric over hydraulic, you're going to need to change out your actuator and add a proper brake controller. For an actuator I'd recommend going with the Hydrastar Electric Over Hydraulic Actuator for Drum Brakes # HBA-10 if you have drums, or # HBA16 for discs. From here, you'll need a brake controller. I recommend checking out the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Trailer Brake Controller # 90195. This brake controller will work great with electric brakes,...

  • Recommended Replacement Hydraulic Surge Brake Actuator For Drum Brakes on 2020 Jayco 12 tent trailer
  • I recommend replacing your entire brake actuator on your 2000 Jayco 12 tent trailer. The Demco Hydraulic Brake Actuator # DM72VR is a bolt on actuator that will mount to your 3" channel like the Atwood 85830. This is the best route to go as it is nearly impossible to find any parts for the Atwood actuator since it has been out of production for so long. The etrailer Hydraulic Trailer Brake Kit # AKUBRK-35 is compatible with the Demco actuator I recommended.

  • Can Brakes of 2004 Jayco Eagle 1406 Be Converted to Electric
  • The drums you have currently can certainly be used with electric trailer brake assemblies. The key is picking out the correct size that you need as a replacement. If you take off the drums and measure the inside diameter and find that it's 7 inches this kit part # AKEBRK-2 will fit and work well. This is a common size for pop up trailer so this is most likely what you'd need. To wire up the assemblies you'll want 10 gauge wire like part # 10-1-1 (sold by the foot). I attached a link to...

  • Can Starter Solenoid be Used in 2001 Jayco Eagle Mini Motorhome
  • I see no reason why you would not be able to use the Starter Solenoid - SPST - 12 Volt - 100 Amp - Continuous Duty # PK5230701 in your 2001 Jayco Eagle Mini Motorhome. We have no way of knowing what solenoid you currently have, but this solenoid should be just fine. I've added a link to a video review for you to check out as well.

  • Replacement Taillights for 2000 Jayco Eagle Camper
  • I do have an option for you but the wraparound style taillights on a 2000 Jayco Eagle Camper are no longer available therefore your only options for replacement are changing to a different style like the Low Profile LED RV Tail Light part # RVSTLB60 for passenger or part # RVSTLB61 for driver which is what I recommend. These lights are LEDs so they will burn brighter and pull less power than the old incandescent. Unfortunately, you'll need to modify the mounting and wiring to make them...

  • Replacement Entry Door Lock for Jayco Part 0089033 on 2002 Pop-Up Camper Trailer
  • Jayco and other RV trailer makers do not maintain details about the smaller items like the locks they install but based on the information I could find on the Jayco part 0089033 that is installed on your trailer, it looks like the closest option we have available is with a paddle handle locking latch like the Polar Hardware # PLR5115. This paddle handle latch measures 5-1/2 inches long and 4-1/4 inches wide. It uses a cutout dimension of 4-5/8 inches long and 3-3/8 inches wide. It features...

  • Replacement Atwood Hot Water Heater Replacement for GC6AA-9E
  • The Atwood RV Water Heater # AT96117 is a manual pilot light but it will work as a replacement for the Atwood GC6AA-9E. • Are There Any RV Toilets With A Higher Water Inlet
  • All of the RV toilets that we currently offer have a low water inlet, just like the # DOM37FR you were looking at. The only solution would be to get an extension hose with a 90 degree fitting so that you can attach to inlet and have enough hose to bend around and avoid the wall.

  • Will LaSalle Bristol XTRM Butyl Tape 344270341410-1 Adhere to EPMD Roof Membrane on Jayco Kiwi
  • LaSalle Bristol XTRM Butyl Tape # 344270341410-1 will stick to ethylene propylene diene terpolymer (EPMD) roof material as well as to Eternabond tape. I confirmed compatibility with the technical team at Lasalle Bristol. The butyl material remains flexible and its adhesion to the surface it is applied to will actually get stronger over time.

  • Surge Brake Actuator and Free Backing Hydraulic Brakes for a 2000 Jayco Eagle Camper
  • The Demco Hydraulic Brake Actuator - Drum - Zinc - 2" Ball - 7,000 lbs item # DM72VR would be a great replacement for the Atwood coupler that is currently on your 2000 Jayco Eagle Camper. You will want to use free backing brakes with this actuator because this surge brake actuator does not have a reverse lockout. I recommend the Hydraulic Trailer Brake Kit - Uni-Servo - Free Backing - 10" - Left/Right Hand - 3,500 lbs item # AKFBBRK-35. These free-backing, driver's-side and passenger's-side...

  • Determining Which Replacement Electric Trailer Brake Assemblies Fit 2000 Jayco Eagle 14SO
  • I would be happy to help you identify the correct replacement brake assemblies for your 2000 Jayco Eagle 14SO, but unfortunately we do not have a break down of the specific components your trailer uses. What you will need to do is remove one of the hub and drum assemblies from your trailer and measure the inside diameter of the drum, and the inside depth of the drum as shown in the included diagram. For example if your drum measures 10" x 2-1/4" then the Dexter Nev-R-Adjust Electric Trailer...

  • Replacement For Discontinued Atwood Drum Brake Actuator For 2 Inch Hitch Ball
  • Thanks for all that detailed info, and Atwood is out of business which is why you can't find the exact replacement. We do have an option for you, that will bolt on, with the caveat being you will likely have to use shims. The reason for that is the only option to replace it is a bolt-on coupler meant for 3" wide channel tongues, so it won't be quite 3-1/2" wide. So what I recommend is one from Titan, which does have mounting holes 3" apart on center like yours, but you will also need to...
